About Maylee Curtis

Maylee Curtis is an award-winning author of Burnt Matches and Scattered Hallways. She has been weaving emotions into words since 2016. The release of Burnt Matches in 2022 marked a significant milestone in her writing journey, cementing her place as a best-selling poet. Her works revolve around heartbreak, healing, and the intoxicating sensation of falling in love.

For Curtis, writing is not just an art—it’s therapy. It’s about transforming past emotional experiences into something raw, intimate, and beautifully human in hopes of healing others and comforting those who might be grappling with the unspoken turmoil of their own past.

Vision

At Media House of Curtis LLC, we envision a world where creativity and emotional expression are accessible to everyone. We believe art is a fundamental human language that should be nurtured and celebrated. Our goal is to create a digital platform that inspires, educates, and entertains—one that encourages people to see art not just as something to observe, but something to feel.

Poems on Polaroids

Poems on Polaroids is Curtis’s next artistic evolution—a visual poetry exhibit turning language into collectible fine art. Each piece blends minimalistic design, tactile nostalgia, and emotional storytelling, transforming poetry into something meant to be held, displayed, and experienced.

The vision is simple yet ambitious:

to frame emotion.

Instead of poems confined to pages, Poems on Polaroids brings words into physical space—onto gallery walls, into meaningful gifts, and into the hands of collectors who value sentiment as art. Every Polaroid is intentionally crafted, signed, framed, and produced in extremely limited quantities, making each piece a rare and intimate keepsake.

Through this exhibit, Curtis aims to create a new genre of visual poetry—where language becomes a tangible artifact, where emotion becomes décor, and where storytelling lives beyond the page.
