About
Maylee Curtis
Award-winning author. Founder. Creative Director.
The story
Maylee Curtis has been writing poetry since 2016 — exploring grief, healing, love, and the quiet moments that shape who we become. Her debut collection, Burnt Matches, was published in 2022 and received the Literary Titan Book Award.
For Curtis, writing is a way of preserving emotion and creating space for others to feel understood. That belief became the foundation of Media House of Curtis — a home for meaningful stories, built to give every project the time and craft it deserves.
Our vision
Art is a fundamental human language.
Media House of Curtis exists to create beautifully crafted books and collectible works of art that invite people to slow down and feel. Every project is guided by one principle: make work people don't simply consume — make work they carry with them.
Writing is not just an art — it's therapy. It's about transforming past emotional experiences into something raw, intimate, and beautifully human.
Creative philosophy
Form follows feeling
Every design decision — typography, layout, cover — is the first argument the book makes to the reader. It must earn its place.
Art is for everyone
Creativity and emotional expression should be accessible, not gatekept. This house exists to lower the threshold, not raise it.
The writer stays central
This house exists to amplify voices, not replace them. Every editorial decision serves the writer's vision — always.
